I Love the Lord and my family, I enjoy scrapbooking, sketching and drawing, gardening, watching Classic Movies and TV Shows, meeting people online and reading. I have been happily married for 32 years to my Darling Paine. My main passion is writing poetry and short stories of a romantic or hopefully inspiring nature. I am currently working on a book of my Poetry, including my own illustrations. When I use up all my spare time doing all the things I love to do then I spend the rest of my time doing the things I have to do !! Our daughter had her surgery and is home with us for Christmas,
our family is looking forward to a healthier, happier 2010 and we wish the same for you.

I am having some more than usual medical problems myself. My husband is struggling with the drug therapy, but he is soldiering on and doing a fine job taking care of the rest of us. This all may sound pretty dismal, but our Faith in the Lord will carry us through, we are Blessed to have one another a warm place to call home, food to eat and God's Precious presence in our lives bringing us Blessings every day amongst the struggles. I want to wish everyone who stops by my page a Very Merry Christmas and many Blessings, may this Season find you surrounded by the ones you love.

Such an inspiring hymn I can sit here today more than 14 years after my Mother passed away and still here her sweet angelic voice singing this song as she went about her day. Praise God I live with His "Blessed Assurance" for without it I would have been lost and never understood that through Him all things are possible and nothing that comes my way do I have to face alone, my Saviour is always beside me even when I can not see Him His eye is still on me.

My thoughts this morning:

It's Christmas time, a time of joy
and still the troubles come, they
pile all around us like snowflakes
blocking the sun, we keep on
looking towards that star the Father
sent to us, we try to smile and greet
our neighbor joyfully, every one,
and yet the darkness falls and we
wonder how to go on, until we bring
those troubles to the Only One,
once we lay them at His feet and
ask for His Will to reign we can be sure
He will unburden our souls and give
us the strength to go on, He will place
angels in our lives and freely give of
Himself, He will meet all our needs and
free us from our strife. So raise your
voice in joyful song, look past all the
pain, see the Saviours shining beams
shining down on us everyone. Feel
the joy of Christmas and spread the
Good News to all, keep the Season
bright, holding fast to the promises
delivered to us, on that most
Blessed and Sacred night.
